Color theory is so interesting to me. The way colors make people feel, the mood it evokes in people. And lighting, lighting goes a long way in creating an atmosphere. I feel the same way when creating a website or a brochure - the colors you put out there are the mood or feeling it evokes when going to that website. If it is harsh or unwelcoming, people tend to go away from the site. If the feeling is calm and inviting, you want to read more. I create website how I decorate my house. :) I hope that my house feels inviting - but regardless - it does to us and we love it. :)

Frequently asked Questions about creating a website

Before a client comes to me for website services, they are often overwhelmed at the thought of where to begin. We make the process very smooth and seamless. We create custom websites and the client just has to let us know what it is they want on the site... how many pages - and what is going to be happening on those pages. From there - we create the look and start laying out the content. It really is not as overwhelming as you might think. This whole process can be done within a week. More times than not you (the client) already have a brochure or marketing piece that contains all the information you will be putting into a website. Just give us that brochure - we will lay it out and make your website functional. We look forward to working with you!

Benefit for Mitochondrial Disease

We are always thrilled to lend our design efforts to a charity who could use some help promoting an event. This particular charitable event seemed to touch me in a very deep way. It involves children. Being a mom myself, I cannot imagine the grief and emotions you go through when you have a child who is sick. This particular family I had the pleasure of working with - not only does the mom have mitochondrial disease, but so does her two children. They are putting on a benefit concert through Ralph's World.

This benefit concert is scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2011 at:

McAninch Arts Center
College of DuPage
425 Fawell Blvd.
Glen Ellyn, Il.
ph. 630.942.4000

There will be two Ralph's World shows this day, one at 11am and one at 2pm. Tickets are $20 (balcony) and $25 (floor). Tickets can be purchased at the box office, by phone and online at: http://www.ralphsworld.com.

This benefit is for The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF). The UMDF promotes research and education for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of mitochondrial disorders and provides support to affected individuals and families. You can learn more at their website at: http://www.umdf.org.
